BioChip provides instructional information for a specific task. Becuase their is only one display panel, only one BioChip can be used at a time.

The Journeyman Project BioChips[]

In the game, the Pegasus and Mapping BioChips become available to an agent on duty when a temporal rip is detected. The rest of the Biochips are only available after each time rip is resolved.

Bio-Chip Function Found in
Interface Store present or load a previously saved game. Also shows overall status (score). Customized from game start.
Pegasus Link the traveler to the time machine Pegasus whenever he is inside a time zone. Automatic recall for emergencies or completed tasks. Ready room.
Mapping Record a location that the Agent has stepped on. The location appears on the display screen seen from above. Ready room.
Trace Scans residues left by a time traveler. Ares' central processor chamber. Near Mars.
Shield Prevents plasma rays from draining too much energy from an Agent. Mercury's central processor chamber. World Science Center, Sydney.
Retinal Simulates the Agent's retina, when analyzed by an eye scanner. Mercury's central processor chamber. World Science Center, Sydney.
Optical Memory Stores and plays previously recorded video files. All Prototypes' central processor chambers.
Video Intended to playback videos stored in Optical Memory. However, this Biochip was never implemented. -

The Journeyman Project: Pegasus Prime BioChips[]

In the game, the Pegasus and Mapping BioChips become available to an agent on duty when a temporal rip is detected. The rest of the Biochips are only available after each time rip is resolved.

Artificial Intelligence Mission briefing, Environ Scan, and Hints. Automatically scans residues left by a time traveler, other malfunctions and dangers. Opens up communications with TSA Central Command Customized from game start.
Arthur (Arthur-'Infected' Biochip) Free with an order of Cornbread. Opens up a temporal anomaly from the replicator, sending Arthur from the future. A blatant temporal anachronism. Replicator ("e" key)

The Journeyman Project 2: Buried in Time BioChips[]

The following BioChips are available in the game. The Translate BioChip must be purchased using a code in the Samco Commerical in Gage's Apartment.

Bio-Chip (blank) Blank, no function, later copied over by Arthur
(AI) Arthur Assists you on your mission and provides hints if necessary. He will comment on your sourroundings.
Cloak When activated, it renders an agent invisible. However you are unable to move.
Evidence Catalogs the evidence you find in each of the time periods.
Files Contains information on the TSA and its personnal allowing an agent to view this info without jumping back to the present. 
Interface Controls all file and computer functions.
Jump Contains the time jumpsuit's time travel controls. Used to travel to mission locations or return to the present. Before beginning a mission, an agent must review the briefing. 
Translate Capable of translating written and spoken forms of every known language.

The Journeyman Project 3: Legacy Of Time BioChips[]

There is only one BioChip in this game; at first it is the Translation which is copied over becoming the Arthur BioChip (after Arthur downloads himself into the Translation Biochip ).
