Duchess Eleanor of Aquitaine was the daughter of Duke William. She was born in 1122. She married Louis VII of France but the married was annulled in 1152 and later she remarried to Henry II of England. Together they had 5 sons[1] including King Richard I and King John.
She was involved in the political affairs of her sons. She supported her sons' rebellion against Henry and she was imprisoned, until Henry's death in 1189[2].
She died in 1204.
